I have a couple of 8Ns and they are great.

I would like to get something a little more powerful with power steering, Front End Loader and some live hydraulics.

Around 30-35 hp should serve me well based on what I know and do.

What Fords, or others, would you reccomend. I am not interested in going out and buying a brand new Kubota.

Should I be looking/thinking of deseals?

Just wondering if there is anything like I want that stands out in performance like the N series did.

Thank you.

My other vintage tractor is a Massey 65 gas. It's got lots of power, power steering, and semi-live power (depress the clutch half way, and it disengages the PTO). I haven't priced one lately, but there are still some of them around, and you should be able to get several of them for the price of the Kubota.

I started out with an 8N and it was a great tractor, I wanted a second tractor and I found an 800, after using the 800 I was so impressed with the live hydraulics and the almost double the power I sold the 8N and bought a second 800 they are great tractors.

We have an 861 that has power steering, live hydraulics & PTO, Red Tiger OHV engine, plenty of power for most all jobs. I don't have a FEL on it, so can't help on that. Should be able to get ahold of one of these for less than half/third the $$ for a Kubota.....
