I've been trying to figure out whether the tractor my grandad had was a Jubilee. I only had this picture and my failing memory to go on. An earlier posting had a link to a site that mentioned the "rare" left footplate tool box on the Jubilee. I remember his tractor having that. Is it true that only the Jubilee had this feature?

It is a 53/54 NAA you have a picture of, and in your memory.

The round crank hole in the lower portion of the grill indicates an NAA. If it were built in late 1952 or in 1953 it probably was a Jubilee. The footrest toolbox was built for model years '53 &'54, both NAAs. Serial number and the round emblem in front are the only way to determine if it was a Jub. The Jub says "Golden Jubilee" on the emblem

Well I guess I still don't know if it was a Jubilee. I guess I should take a trip to Upstate New York to see if the old girl is still on the farm (which is no longer in the family). 8 hours from here but it might be worth it.

Paul, I live in upstate New York just outside Buffalo. Any chance the farm you mentioned is close to my area? If so I could check it out for you and save you an 8 hr. drive. Post back here if you are interested and leave your e-mail open so I can contact you.

The picture is small and not clear, if the hole for handcrank in front is round it is a Jubilee/NAA, if it is oval, it is a 600 or 800; if there is a lot of chrome and black background on hood emblem it is 600/800; if you remeber the hood emblem has plenty of red color, it is a Jubilee/NAA, a color photo would be very useful here.

As far as I know, only the "53 Jubilee and the "54 NAA have the toolbox in the running board. Ron
