Hi. My grandfather has a 1948 Model 8N Ford Tractor and wishes to sell it. If anybody can help with price information it will be greatly appreciated. It still runs, and is in fair condition. Thank you.

In western Montana, you would be very lucky indeed to sell one for $2000..... ...more like $800 to $1500 in average condition.

Andy, in Central Iowa, your 8n should bring $2500-3500 depending on how well it runs, looks and whom you can get to stop by and look at it. If you are close to areas where there are significant numbers of hobby farmers, folks with nice new country homes with long driveways, etc. it will sell near the high end of that scale if you are patient.

Out here in Orygun, $2,000.00 plus or minus 500.00, depending on shape and horse-trading skills.

In fair condition (tires 50% tread, fair paint, fair sheetmetal) in Alabama would run around $1500. 8Ns are very popular here and probably go higher than some other areas.
