I"m a little late to this ballgame, but I grew up in Paris, TX 100 miles NE of Dallas. We now live in The Colony, TX just north of Dallas. The farm is in Mt.Maxey, TX 15 miles west of Paris.

Well almost....
I live in Tennessee (T is for...)

But I lived in Texas for more than 15 years...and will NEVER get it out of my blood!

I lived in Austin in the 70's (back when it was a great place to live) and in Wimberly, then finally in League City.

Still have inlaws in Austin,Galveston & Brownsville. My deceased wife was from Brownsville, & boy do I love to _VISIT_ there.

I was always kiddin' Texans about how Sam Houston & several other famous Texans were transplanted Tennessians! I claim Dual citizenship. *<80)>--rasputen

Johnson County Texas, out side Mansfield,, due south of DFW airport. When the wind is right, the jets make a turn over our place to head straight in to land.

Sherman here - 60 miles North of Dallas - I know there are some more out there too. Sooo... had a thought the other day - would anyone in the North Texas area be interested in a get together come Spring time - a Meet and Greet type thing - bring ya tractor or not. I have a piece of land in Emory - 60 miles East of Dallas - though it is unimproved - I could mow enough area to bring some grills - do some dogs, burgers etc... hang out a while, talk some tractor. With all the good folk on this board it would be nice to be able to meet some of you.
