Hi all,

My Jubilee still has the vane pump on it and I came across a guy parting out a "Jubilee". Through email I was able to procure this pump and I actually thought I was getting another vane because he said it had separate lines coming off of it. I thought the piston pump had a manifold type line because we've got a '59 651 and that's what's on it. To my surprise (I hope) I got this
(I hope the link works,if not Ford piston pump in parts and pieces)

Is this a replacement for the vane and isn't there a change to be made in the hydraulics?

Sorry, My tractors out at the farm about 75 miles away and I'm thrilled to find this pump.

Thanks

Thanks for the links Dave. Wow...Can't believe the price for the reconditioned pumps! Got this one for $50 plus shipping. Now for some lines

One note of caution. When replacing a vane pump with a piston pump on the NAA, be sure you have clearance behind the pump where the oil line comes from the block. You might get some clearance by tapping the fitting deeper into the block or do as I did and grind some clearance from the back of the pump. Failing to have clearance at this point will cause undue stress on the pump and will more than likely cause the pump casting to crack at the ears where it attaches to the block by the drive gear. And yes, the NAA / Jubilee piston pump manifold is different than the vane or later tractor piston pump manifolds.

Yep - that is a newer piston pump. Boy have I spent a lot of time looking at the insides of one of those! You will need a new manifold to go from the pump to the bottom of the hydraulic chamber.

Good luck,
Dan
