N was starting perfectly until I changed the oil. Now turns over, but won't fire. I have spark, its white/blue and bright. I have gas that's getting in the carb (which I successfully rebuilt about three months ago). It turns over but doesn't sound as if it's firing. Sometimes It gets close but no further. I may have put in about a quart too much oil when I changed (got my vehicles mixed up). I just read a post where a guy put oil in the cylinders and it fired up ... ?

Any chance you put that extra quart in the air breather and are now choking it? I don't think an extra quart would fit, but, it is easy to overfill them.

if you have gas to the cylinders, and fire to the top of the plugs, it may be the plugs themselves, pull one and ground the plug body , then turn the engine over and watch to see if the plug fires, let us know what you find, ericlb

pull the air tube off the carb, give it a wiff of starting fluid if it fires up it's in your carb, if not it's in yer fire or could be a combo of both
keep us posted we'll get it going fer ya

Only changing the oil should have nothing to do with it not starting..

You may have read were someone put Mystry Oil in the cylinders to free them up..and then it started.
