My spark is white/blue and pretty strong. Put starting fluid through the carb air port. Nothing. I know oil has absolutley nothing to do with it, but my N started until I changed the oil.

waddya think?

greenhorn..... ....just lookin' at yer white/blue sparkie don't mean 'nuttin'!!!

DOES IT JUMP 3/16" GAP???

Make a "calibrated" sparkie tester outta enny ol'sparkplug by bending the side electrode out for a full 3/16" gap. Now ground the shell to handy engine bracket and plug enny sparkie wire to top of tester. NOW does it jump a full 3/16" gap with blue-snott authority?..... ....respectfully, Dell yer self-appointed sparkie-meister

did you change the oil in the air filter? If you overfilled that, could the carb not be getting air, or could oil have been sucked down into the carb, and is not gumming everything up?

It sounds to me like you have a vacuum leak. Take off your carb and check the manifold gasket. Replace if necessary. Also make sure the fuel line entering the carb is snug.
