I went to the barn today to crank the 8n and let it run for awhile as i always do every 2-3 weeks,it crank right up and ran for about 2-3 minuits and quit but wouldnt crank back up,i check to see if it had spark to points and it did, also had spark to plugs,i did everything i have learned on this board but couldnt get it to crank up again,i knew that i had a full tank when i put it in barn for the winter so i thought i'd check it anyway, well it was empty, my first thoughts someone had relieved the gas from me while i was away from home,so i went into town and bought 7 gals and poured 2 gals in the tank and guess what it was coming out the sediment bowl about as fast as i poured it in,i had the cutoff turned off but it was still pouring, since my stroke i dont have much strenth in my hands so i got a pair of channel locks and turned the wheel hard but it did stop it from leaking,Am i going to need another sediment boul assemably or can this one be fixed?I didnt see a packing nut so what is your opinion on this? its always been easy to turn off and i havent a clue what happen.Thanking you in advance for your feed back. I'd see if it was the cork gasket leaking.. they like to die... Napa has a neophrene one for about 50 cents that fits ok.. part number.. 730-9506

I've made them out of thick gasket paper in a pinch too!

Hook,
Even with the steep shipping charges, this one is cheaper. Don"t know where it"s made.
