The starter bolt (where the wire connects) has been stripped . Is there a kit (?) out there somewhere to repair this?

Here's what the repair looks like. A local "automotive electrical shop" will probably have them.

I looked for a while to finally find one at NAPA. The price was $ 6.90. Still cheaper than a new starter. J
