That is the ugliest simplicity lawn mower I have ever seen. That tractor should have been parted out. Now it needs to be shown mercy. You should burn it ,crush it, and bury it in Mexico. But I doubt the Mexicans would want it in their country either. I bet your the guy that used to drive a four door chevette, with air shocks, mag wheels , and a cherry bomb muffler.
This statement is not meant to attack anyones honor, only their poor taste

I have to tell you that I like the Hooker treatment. The original color of the 8N hood was as close to the color of bird droppings as they could make it so perhaps it's time for a change. I see tractors of a similar color cutting grass along I-80 in Indiana no matter what make they are. They really look nice. In fact, John Deere offers "Community Orange" as an optional paint color. About $1000 extra. Maybe all tractors should be orange. Heh, heh.

Hooker, sorry to butt in here. It looks like you are implying that Ken N TX posted the "Paint Officer" message above. I can tell you most definitively that it was not Ken.

AOL users share the same 2 or three IP addresses. However, as webmaster I can see from the server logs a bit more info about posts, and this one wasn't Ken, I can assure you. In fact I can tell you exactly who it was, but that may cause some mud slinging which isn't my point.

While the IP addresses do help to identify people, the case isn't so when it comes to people who use AOL as a provider. Only technical types like myself can tell who they are by looking at logs. This one wasn't from Ken N TX.

Back to tractoring,
Kim

Anyway, nice paint job Hooker, I would like to do it on my 8N 1952, any color but prefer red and grey on red belley and ... green & yellow on my Deeres. Rlach

If I ever paint mine different that how it came (grey/blue) I"d like to paint it Baylor GREEN....(except I"d never be able to deal with those that would accuse me of wishing I had an off-brand tractor like a JD.) ;Þ So I won"t. I LIKE your tractor Hooker!!! (I have a friend who owns a 1930"s vintage Gull-Wing Stinson airplane named "Hooker". When I asked him why he named it "Hooker" ...he replied, "Because it"s spent so much time on it"s BACK!" (LOL)

Wisconsin Badgers colors are "Cardinal" and white! The 8N default colors are close enough to get by. I prob should get a little "Bucky" decal for it though.

Nice paint job on yours, don"t listen to the sticklers; there"s 200,000 Ns, why do they all have to be identical?

Anything to get the board hopping huh? Think about it everyone... any of us can create a new name and put this post on the board and get everyones blood pressure to rise a couple of points. Have a good laugh and keep going.

PS I love Hooker"s paint job, mine is going to be grey hood and fenders, red belly (go Fresno State Bulldogs) with a blue seat, cause blue is my favorite color, and the air cleaner, starter, oil filter, carb and other add ons are going to be black cause it will look cool.

Mamma always said, "If you can't say somthin'good-don't say anything"! I've seen N's painted every color you cold imagine, and this ain't bad. Not factory, but a nice touch of originality, and there ain't nothing wrong with that. Bob

And I'LL bet your the kind of guy that thinks everyone should dress the way you do, and drive the kind of car you do, and think the way you do as well. I like the individuality shown on that paint job, it was done in a quality way, AND - it is HIS tractor. I say we need more people like Hooker - not less. As you, not trying to attack your honor, just question YOUR taste.

I am not afraid to use my name...

I like it just the way it is. It would also be nice if it was orange and blue. Go Gators.
