I broke off a nipple to the hydrolic lines that connect to the bucket... I replaced nipple and added more fluid - but the bucket still won't tilt...

I can raise and lower the whole bucket itself, I just can't dump the bucket.
Do I need to go through a proceedure to remove air that is now in the lines? (I'm assuming that air in the line is the problem) or does the air work itself out?

This loader uses the main resevour that the 8N has under the seat and a pump that is connected to a PTO unit on the front of the tractor.

Thanks for any suggestions & help!

my farmall book says to take filler cap of and with engine running move lever back and forth 10-12 times with 3-4 sec. in each position.
i've found the easy way is like you would bleed the brakes on a car with lever engaged or with a long string pull lever as you loosen the fitting to let the air out, when air is gone and straight fluid spews out let off the string and tighten
just my $.02 jake

I guess I didn't play with it long enough... I tried for 15-20 minutes and then gave up for the night...
Tried again the next morning and after a couple of minuted it started working - I think I had a whole line that was full of air.
thanks!
