Would like to see a picture or description of how the original holddowns were on a 1939 9N. Thanks

Pokey,

I have 9N 15015 with this set-up:

third party image

Most of the aluminum dashes I've seen, '39, '40, '41, have holes through them. Mine has rods on each side of the battery hold down. These rods attach to the hold-down and go through the dash and nuts are screwed to the ends of the rods.

how do you like the 6v system where do you find hold downs like that? is your dash aluminum? and do you have other pictures of your tractor? I would like to see pictures of your ignition starter, relay, and the parts that start it from the push-in starter underneath the battery holder. where do you find the relay and new parts like that? tyi. tystud
