Ed, That answered my question perfectly. Thanks. I've never seen item #4 before. What manual did this pic come from? Ron

This picture is from a parts and accessories catalog for N tractors that I have.

Part#4 is a key part in order to attach the stabilizer bar to the fender bracket. Original Dearborn part# is 230044

The brackets under the axel have to be on right. I forget which side the "L" foot hangs down on. Close to the wheel or center? Perhaps someone has a pix? Hopefully, you have several holes in your bracket to adjust the length.

The end of the bar at the implement flairs to the outside.

Like Dave says. There is a slight flair on the ends of your sway bars. The bend in go's toward the tractor and the bend out go's at the implement. The easy way to put them on is to install the end under the axle first then barely raise the implement off the ground without lynch pins in the implement. Gently swing implement back and forth to line up the sway bars and install lynch pins. SAFETY FIRST, keep your feet out from under and watch out for PTO. Don't raise the implement but just enough to clear the ground.

Mine has pins on the bottom of the fender mounting bracket with holes through them for lynch pins.

There are separate L shaped brackets that get bolted on the underside of the fender mounting bolts.

Mine had four holes each to best match the location of the lower arm pivots on the differential housing.

A set of bolt thru pins attach the bars to the brakets.
