S0me0ne asked about running boards. We use Ferguson running boards From 1948 to MF 35 in the 60's fit perfect and are easier to find and usually cheaper. They hook over the spike and hang on a bracket at the rear - make sure you get the rear bracket bolts right on. No drilling, no modification. BURT.

Hey Burt, How do they look on a restored 9n? I would like running boards but dont want to take away from the tractor. I know they came with running boards on the 8n and some after market for the 9 & 2N's but was just wondering outloud what it looked like. Any pictures? Any further hints?

If you want a perfect restoration leave them OFF, but if you are not interested in those spike marks on your ankles, these are the answer. They fit perfect and look great. I have several Ns and these are great. I have used a lot of them. BURT.

Yeah, i'd like to see some fergy running boards as well. I have a set of boards on my 2N that I can't identify. They are very nicely made and even has a sheet of some sort of (asbestos) type material under the muffler side. Hadn't given much thought to them possibly being off of a ferguson tractor. Like to see what they had out there.
