LOOKIN FOR SOME ADVICE
I PARKED MY 9N A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO, IT WAS RUNNING GREAT WHEN I SHUT IT OFF, ADDED STABIL TO THE FUEL, AND KISSED IT GOODBYE FOR THE WINTER. WENT TO START IT YESTERDAY, NO START. INSTALLED FRESH PLUGS, H12, PULLED DISTRIBUTOR AND CHECKED POINTS, OK, GOT FIRE, CLEANED ALL FUEL FILTERS, GOOD FUEL FLOW,PULLED CARB,CHECKED FLOAT AND VALVES, OK, WONT HIT A LICK, IN FACT, I RAN THE FRESHLY CHARGED BATTERY DOWN. ANY ADVICE? HELP! THANKS.

Had that problem with my farmall. Sat a couple of months and went to use it, I had to give it a snort of ether to get it to start. I think it was a little po'ed at me for not using it for pushing snow around.

I always pull each plug and shoot a little starter fluid into each cylinder. Put plugs back in and give her a try. Works for me. (If everything else is ok)

A word of advice.

While adding stabil to the gas helps the fuel in the tank. I always add stabil to the gas and then let it run for at least 5 minutes.. so that the stabilized fuel make sit to the bowl and needle valve.. etc.

Perhaps your rings stuck a little. Add a teaspoon of MMO down your spark holes, reinstall sparkies.. pull air cleaner tube and try starting it with a whif of ether.

if you have good spark.. it should take off.
