Your post about dragging your N, to get it started was a bit down the page, so I thought I'd start over up here. I'm guessing that you have low compression, and aren't pulling fuel into the cylinders. By towing it you increase engine speed and vacuum. Try jumping it with a 12 volt battery. That'll spin her over alot faster. Now, PLEASE read up on how to jump with a 12 volt, and leave the cables offen yer 8 volt battery. That will spin it alot faster, and may start it, if it does, please understand that it isn't time for a 12 volt conversion, it's prolly time for an engine overhaul. Take wet and dry compression readings and post them, then we know what devil we're fighting. Ron

What does that mean to take wet and dry compression readings.
I been seeing that several times on the board.
Can you explain to me what wet and dry readings means.

Thanks.

Dry means as is.
Wet means with a tablespoon of oil down the sparkie hole. The oil seals up bad rings and lets you know iffn low compression is due to valves or rings.
