Starts good.. but then dies.. choke helps for a little bit, then dies? My guess's" Fuel restriction, check fuel thru carb by pulling the bowl drain. If you don't get a steady flow.. your float is bad.. or needle is stuck.. flaot stuck.. doesn't 'float' etc. Also.. you might check your gas cap. Sometimes they can pull a vacume and won't fuel flow. Check by removing gas cap to see if it helps when it tries to stall. Next guess: Bad ignition switch that heats up and reduces spark.. you choke .. mix enriches.. makes it easier to ignite.. then switch guts heat up enough to kill spark. Check this by jumpering your ignition switch. *** Don't try and kill yourself by jumpering the 'start' side of an auto / non oem switch> this advice ONLY applies to the OEM 2 terminal IGNITION switch. Next guess: Plugged up main jet... Next guess: Bad vacume leak that gets worse with temperature.. such as a cracked manifold.. or bad mating surface. Easy to check with a propane hand torch, unlit, and directed toward the carb, carb gasket, manifold and manifold gasket right after startup. if the engine speed changes.. you have a vacume leak. This can/may be done with wd-40 in some cases.. and even ether.. however.. propane hand torch seems 'safe(er)'.. than ether. all possibilities.. just do some investigation and get back to us. I posted them in order of how likely I thought the possibility was. Let me know how my mind prognostication skills are! Soundguy
