It wouldn't hurt to buy a spare when trying to do this. (I didn't). Like the others have said, grind a little off, then whacking them in with a pvc pipe. They will go in, but you really have to be patient.

Try using a wire wheel bench grinder to polish the leading edge of the seal about 1/8". The wire wheel will polish off some of the sealer on the outside of the seal. Lay the seal against the opening and hold a flat piece of wood against the seal... Whack the board with a healthy hammer. It should start the seal. After you get it started, have a look and Whack it on whichever side it needs to straighten and drive it flush. Good luck. Charlie

Ratchet, did you pack the axle brg good with grease? You know the SS92 sure seal will prevent rear end lube from oiling the bearing....thanks, Kelly.

I took pliers and was not easy to do but I slightly bent the lead edge in a little all the way arounf to help get them started. Also I applied grease to the edge all the way around. Still I would think I had it started then it would pop out on the other side..They will eventually go..They seem to be a milligillionth oversized..

Ratchet,If you've tried several times to press them in you may have the "cup" burred. Check.I took a peice of PVC of the same size to use as a drift.Placed a peice of 2x4 on top and used a "big" maul and gave it a big smack.Worked for me.
