Was that used crank ground undersize, and then used to order the correct os bearings? If not.. I suspect a bearing failure...

good luck..

1)have you pulled the line off your gage to prove thats theres no oil pressure (could be a huge air pocket)??? 2)what part of KS are ya in???
3)put a magnet on the bottom of the oil pan, wait a couple of hours, then check for metal shavings!!e-mail me for a list of probable part wear via what in yer oil

any good size magnet will do, put it around the drain plug area, after a couple of hours, pul the plug and get a sample of oil (quart otta do any oil analysis firm) and they will tell you what in your oil..
alum,copper,brass, steel, cast,iron,magn.
the metals in yer oil will help tell you where to start looking for faults in yer motor...
the oil test will be in the area of $25-$35
or you can roll the sleeves up and dig in and if ya get stumped we are always here on this site
if ya need to know what metals come from what parts e-mail me
good luck,
jake

man do i feel for you. just for help, there is a great fix and repair book available through this site, great picktures, trouble shooting, rebuilding, you can order by the model and tractor type , try and get a seriel number too.the books were used by mechanics, very good stuff if u dont have one already. its I&T shop manual.you can order it through this site or, you may even find it on itshopmanual.com. but i cant be sure of the e-mail. Also the guys on this site are great, they have helped so much, and taken alot of their own time to make this site work. what a gang. i know i couldnt do it without their information, most of these gentlemen have been doing this stuff all their lives , and know every nut, bolt, and screw. not to mention wiring. sorry about the breakdown, we know how hard you worked on it. but it is a learning experience, you"ll get it, dont give up, you"ll be feeling betten if you figure it out, no matter how much help you get. from your friends. i started shade tree mechanics only 35 years ago. lots of #@*&%$# along the way but after 3 or 4 more tries i usually figure it out. again good luck. abjahnke
