Hope this isn't to stupid of a question. What size of fuse do you use in the headlight switch? I have an 8N that has been converted to 12 volts. Thanks

Your question causes me to ask a dumb question.
Where is the light fuse on a 2N 6-volt?

On the 2n, the light fuse is on metal clips which are connected directly to the light switch where the wires are connected. A number of tractor models have the same set up, or so I have seen.

The only ones I've seen were in-line fuse holders behind the light switch.

Go with a 20 amp Slow Blow. This will give you a little extra and will not burn out the wires in case of a short to ground.

Thanks Claus. The only bad part of fixing my headlights is that I won't have an excuss this summer for not getting the place mowed. Not even darkness.
