I bought Zane's Live Thang and installed it last weekend. It works great! I was out with the rotary mower this afternoon and found the value.

I got bogged down. Instead of clutching, putting the tractor in neutral, turning off the PTO, unhooking the drive line, turning on the PTO and then raising the mower out of the muck, all I had to do was clutch it and pull up on the quadrant handle. It came right up and I was on my way.

I can see a lot of other good things for this like turning off the drive line on the mower and still being able to travel with the lift up.

I had a little difficulty w/ my alternator... it's fatter than a generator. But, it went together smoothly other than that.

I also bought Zane's alignment tool. Now my lift works perfectly in draft and position mode.

Just had to give Zane some kudos..

I just have to throw in a plug here for one of Zane's other inventions. I installed his original Zane Thang on my 2N in about 10 minutes and I love it. True position control on the 9N and 2N is a true thing of beauty with this product.

When I think back about how I fussed with things before the THANG I can"t believe anything ever worked to satisfaction. Zane was born too late. He"d have told Harry and Henry how to do it right the FIRST time, if he"da been "round! (Young whipper-snapper!);Þ
