Hi, I have a 8n that starts fine and runs good but quits after 30 minutes and won't start till it cools down, any ideas?

Don't forget to check for proper venting of the gas cap.

Try jumping out your key switch (if it is the original Ford type) when it quits if it re-starts you know you need to change the switch. Change the condenser even if it's new it could be bad. Lastly check your coil, a visual inspection will tell alot if it's overheating it will have what appears to be tar dripping down it, if so change it for a new one of the correct voltage, if you have been converted to 12 volts get a 12 volt replacement. Good luck post back with what you find.

I have heard of the bad switch deal, I'll try that tomorrow if it quits.
