Hey all, I did post on Impliment board as well. I have a ford slip scoop I use on the back of an 8N. I was digging some top soil out for a small pond, and must have hit a rock while I was going to fast, because I bent the top bar that has the trip levers on it and the adj. top link some how too. Dont ask me how as I only know they both are dented. The top bar on the scoop a whole lot worse than the top link from the tractor. How can this be repaired? I do not have any kind of welding or heavy metal bending experience. Any suggestions are helpful.
Thanks Rick.

Right away I can tell you need a bigger hammer. If you"re going to be driving old iron dragging iron around your place you need a hammer. I suggest a 3-lb drilling hammer because they are heavy, short handled, available most any place and affordable. Like $14. That thing corrects many wayward pieces of iron like yours and comes in handy in so many other ways where nothing else will do as well.
I use a hydraulic bottle jack to push things around when I have something to push off of. If nothing else. I can run a piece into the machine/welding shop to get it straightened out.

You will probably have to heat it to get it to bend back. You might try a pipe wrench and a cheater bar. Or maybe chain it between two trees and pull on it with a hand winch. Good Luck
