clutch problem

A few weeks ago my 8N stopped disengaging the tranny. I adjusted the ring bolt connected to the clutch pedal, but now it had happened again and another 3 turns on the adjustment bolt has not improved things. Do these have a throw-out arm and is it likely to crack and bend? (I had that happen on a car years ago, and I don't have any other ideas). IF it matters, this always has happened when starting the tractor (start it, then unable to put it into gear -- horrible grinding).

The throwout fork is pinned to the shaft and that pin can break letting the shaft rotate in the fork instead of moving the throwout bearing forward. The hole in the shaft wobbles out too. If you pull that shaft (split the tractor) to inspect the fork then check the shaft bushings. They"re thin when new.
