You didn't give us much to go on.. like front or side mount, 12v or 6v.. and if 12v what coil/resistor combos are you using. Could be anything from a coil problem.. to a bad ignition switch, to a fuel delivery problem. Most coil problems are front mountand generally involve the lack of a resistor, and the coil overheats. however even with the correct resistor.. the front mount coils simply are not as robust as we would like them to be. To test the ignition switch, which also isn't very robust, carry a jumper wire to bypass the switch. if it starts right back up after the stall when you bypass the switch.. you found your problem. One caution... if you do not have the oem 2 terminal ignition switch.. but instead have replaced it with some kind of 'auto' style starter switch.. don't just bumble around and start jumpering at random and run yourself over.. make sure you only jumper the ignition contacts. Lastly would be fuel delivery. This could be anything from you being out of fuel.. or being low and not having the reserve open.. or the reserve tube is plugged up... or it is a new style bowl with no reserve. Could also be the main screen plugged up, bowl screen, or carb elbow screen. Could be a stuck float starving the carb for fuel, or even flooding the carb out. Lastly, it could be a fuel tank vacume problem due to a plugged tank vent. Simply opening the gas cap a crack when the engine goes to die will test that. Ont he last 3 problems, you may notice that pulling the choke a little helps, due to the extra manifold vacume... In the case of a bad ignition switch or coil, a little choke may even help, due to enrched mix... etc. post back Soundguy
