Recently I purchased an antique 9n Ford tractor, the machine runs great and I have alot of impliments that can be used on it. But, recently I knowticed that the right upper lift arm has a crack in it and is starting to sag downward, does anybody know of a place in central Florida that can get parts for these tractors. Your information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Al

I bought a used one off of ebay for $25 that was in really nice condition. I put it on my 8N because the one that was on it, while working OK, had a weld that looked like it was going to fail in a dramatic fashion at any given minute (had probably looked that way since 1956). While I was at it I replaced the rod that hooks it to the lift arm (whatever it is called) which had been similarly welded. I now worry less about it going belly up at an inconvienient moment. Then, of course, there are the asthetic considerations (not that the rest of the tractor looks like a care much about appearance issues!).

Parts are everywhere. I'd go used as a first choice.. or new, and as a last resort.. you can always V it out, weld it up, ad then gusset it.

Half the N's down around where I live have a piece of flat or a piece of rebar welded to one or both lift arms.. look slike they have been there for decades...

Dunno EXACTLY where you are, but I'm just north of Gainesville, Alachua Tractor (386-462-5414) on 441 can lookup and order any part that's till available. You must have a local New Holland Ford dealer probably closer.

I live in the southeast most portion of Orlando, it's pretty far from Gainesville. There is a huge New Holland dealer that about 20 minutes away from me in Cocoa, I think I might stop by there and ask them some questions.
Thanks
