OT,, Ford Van...

I am looking for a van for me to drive and run my locksmith out of. Found a Full size Ford with V8, (Durn the Gas Cost!! ) custom rigged that will work fine. The price is right, IF I can get the handicap lift ramp and the associated equipment out of it or removed. My first thought was to call the installer. I tried to call the company that originally installed it, they are out of business. So, any one got an idea of who I could get to remove this stuff and simply reinstall captains chairs in the back area? Like or similar to what came in it? As I understand it, this lift and related remote control and all that is durn expensive. Ideas? Suggestions?

I used to be a Truck sales manager at a chev dealer and we would have to have the handicap customers auto equipped locally, so if you contact the local ford dealer and ask them they could tell you who they use and then maybe you could contact there person to have it removed. And if all else fails I have a cousin in Kaufman TX, that works for a company that installs and build custom seats and if you don"t want the custom seat to replace the old ones they may have some originals they removed from another that would match.
