Well I finally got the old girl to run again after a little trial and error. She starts good cold, not so good warm. Put a blade on her and graded the road. Did a nice job and it was real interesting working with a tractor where everything stops when you push in the clutch.
Takes a little getting used to having your pedals behind your heel too. Had fun.

Question tonight is which manuals to buy. Operators manual, yes. Parts manual needed?
Which service manual is best? Appreciate your opinions as usual.

ya'll need a fo-4 for sure!!!
as for the parts manual
here a place to have it fer free online
wwww.dennis-carpenter.com
a full blown parts catalog with part #'s and prices... now for good quality used parts,, i would recommend a poster on this site named
""ROUGHSTOCK""
i've personally seen his parts source and could probably assemble 10-15 complete " N " tractors
from his parts,, and his prices are very reasonable

I think you will find the I&T FO-4 manual and the 1939 thru 1953 Master Parts catalog to be very helpful.
