The Old Warrior is gonna get rear lights, but there is no evidence of them ever being there before, so I wonder, where do the brackets go? Is the mounting point(s) apparent on the fenders?

The light brackets are specific between left and right sides. Their location is apparent becuse they line up with the ridge in the fender - the bracket will have a "hump" where it lays over the ridge that will go half way into the light bracket. Because this "hump" only goes half way through the bracket, this makes it LEFT/RIGHT specific depending on which side has the "hump" opening. You will remove I believe three bolts from the fender skin to fender bracket, then re-install with the light bracket under these bolts to secure it to the fender.

Hope this makes sense, if not, email me and I will send pics.

Good luck,
Dan

Makes perfect sense, thanks! How's that engine sounding lately?

I haven't run it since I heard the problem - you got me scared...

:)

I plan on removing the hydraulic pump and running the engine again to troubleshoot and hopefully isolate the problem. I know the gear on the end of the cam shaft is tight and torqued correctly, I am not sure what is loose. Just been working on the sheet metal for now until I get a good 3-4 hour window to really submerse myself in the problem without distractions.

I have been sanding the lights and evaluating my hood. Did you get the email I sent you a few days ago?

Dan
