Should I think about putting some paint on this part while I have it out and disassembled? Or is there a better way to paint a tractor than piece by piece? I would have to clean it a little better if I paint it. I have been scrubbing this carb with brass brushes and tooth brushes and solvent all afternoon and there is still residue in the cracks. Every time I think of putting it in the sand blaster the warning lights go off in my head. All those little orifices and all that fine grit. Any tips on the paint and cleaning?

Buy a can of carb cleaner, it comes in a gallion can with a basket, soak it in that stuff and it will clean up real good. Costs about $10 for a can of it from an auto parts store. Bemans spelling isn't right but close
