I am looking for some info from the experts. Family tractor is (we think) a 1953 Jubilee. How can we be sure? The tractor has been in my wife's family since 1953. We believe it was the first Jubilee delivered to her grandfather's Ford dealership here in Louisiana. I have not been able to find a serial number - the plate where the number is supposed to be is blank. I rebuilt the engine about 10 years ago and I noticed letters, not numbers, on the crank. It has a hydraulic clutch between the transmission and rear end - this makes it a live PTO. It has a Vickers hydraulic pump. Can anybody help?

IF it was "THE FIRST" Jubilee at the dealership, then it most likely was made in 1952 - VERY collectable!!! - as it is one of a select group. See posts below about '52 Jubilees.

Let us know what you find for the serial number.

Here's where it is on mine
Below the Head
Behind my Alternator
Above the Govener linkage
In front of the Carb.

Pete, the serial number should be on the left side of the tractor. On the transmission right where the starter bolts into the tranny housing, look for the flat spot on the tranny half. Since I repainted mine the number is hard to read. Does it have the Jubilee hood emblem. It's hard to tell a NAA from a NAA-Jubilee without the serial number.

MY 1952 Ford Jubilee <>NAA-01149<> has the serial number is on the LEFT FRONT SIDE OF THE MOTOR, Just below the Head and BEHIND THE ( ALTANATOR ) ON MINE.

Or almost right behind the govener linkage. it's hard to see if the motor is dirty.

The Jubilee was only made in 1953. It was called an NAA only in 54. There was no 52 Jubilee.

>>>>The Jubilee was only made in 1953<<<<

That is a True statement. But, And you always want to watch out for the But.

Ford Built approximately 1500 Jubilee's In 1952 so that they would have the dealer's stocked for the Big Presentation for the 50 year celebration.

Auto Company's do this all the time. I'm sure of that because I work at one. We are in the process of setting up to build the 2002 cars now. But they won't be at the dealer's till fall.

So We are Both Right. The Jubilee's are called 1953's But I have one Built in 1952 <>NAA-<>01149<>

Have a Great Day

There were a couple thousand Jub's made in 52 for the 53 model year just as there were 8N's made in 47 for the 48 model year.
