OK fellas, I'm out of my depth already. The basic carb kit from TSC does not have a packing list. Seems to me that something like this REALLY should have one, especially since it opens so easily in the store. Anyone familiar with these kits enough to tell me what all this stuff is? Problem I have is that most of the washers and packing were missing when I disassembled the carb so I really don't know what I am looking at having never seen it before. Specifically causing me trouble are the four round "washer like" items. One is black, one is gray, one is reddish, and the last is white. The gray and red ones look a lot like washers, the black is plastic and not flat like a washer, grooved on one side. The white is a felt like material and thicker than a washer. I sure hope you can tell me because I doubt anyone would know at TSC. The rest of the stuff I think I have figured out. Appreciate any help.

Shorty..... ..not quite certain what the red washer is, nor the gray one. Its been a Loooonnng time since I've rebuilt a M/S carb. I think one is for the slanted down the throat main jet emulsion tube. And the other is under the down-pointing mainjet adjusting needle coil spring in the carb body.

But I do know the BLACK neoprine seal is for the THROTTLE SHAFT. But I don't remember lip out or in? It will make a BIG DIFFERENCE in being able to adjust yer carb.

I do know the WHITE FELT seal is bewteen the choke's coiled hairspring with arms and the carb body on the CHOKE SHAFT.

My N-Ford MPC M/S carb parts drawing also show a fairly heavy sealing gasket under the carb float valve. But I think that comes in the float/needle plastic baggy..... ....Dell

You do know how to adjust the M/S carb, don't you?

Basic kit is both needle adjusters (idle and main) fuel inlet valve and seat, gasket between two halves, washer for main nozzle/main adjustment needle/fuel inlet seat, throttle shaft packing, throttle shaft, and idle screw.

That is about all I think.
