LMAO!

I've come close to doing that myself, although I like to think the 8N's front end is more robust. I only pull in reverse (chained to the front end) ever since I learned of a few guys killing themselves when their tractors flipped over onto them.

The cool part is that any tool or machine that's capable of killing a person is instantly more masculin. If the 8N was totally safe it wouldn't make us feel like men to operate them. ; )

If you pull in reverse you risk doing exactly what this guy did. The only thing holding your front axles on is that little bitty king pin.

Not if you're careful about chaining things to the front end.

I don't use this method for super heavy stuff, but I find it works better for average sized stumps and such. I've found that if something is really heavy, the 8N isn't the right tool for the job since it doesn't get enough traction. Use a cable hoist for really heavy stuff, or a bulldozer if you have to.

MH,
If'n ya pull in reverse, ya gotta swap the rear tires to get the best traction. My wife hates it when I make her do that.
