Yesterday my dad worked on my 8n without me.
He installed the front tranny seal backwards.
If we pull it out we are almost certain to damage it.

Can I get a replacement locally at Napa.
Can you give me the part number to ask for.

Thanks.

I searched the archives and came up with 8N7052-A
And that translated into NOS 17645 at Napa.

Would you believe that seal came out without damage.
Man alive, I was sweatin' big time.

I got almost done today.
I had one bolt left to put in and it would be ready for a battery.
and it started pouring rain.
I tarped it up as quick as I could and ran for the house.

Maybe I'll get to it again today.
I sure would like to be finished with it.

Thanks.
