My '49 has one of those after market under the differential draw bars like you would buy at TSC.
Yesterday I was doing some backblading and rootraking and came around the loop and there was my drawbar layin on the ground. Seems something had snagged the clip out of it and the pin had dropped out. I went by TSC today and the one guy that knows anything at all was off, the kid I asked said "DUH!!! The tractor parts are over there", and waved in the general direction of 2/3rds of the store. Like No Shutt Dude! Any way does anyone know the dimensions of that pin? It's not the twist and lock kind it's the one with the hole in the bottom for the pin to slide through.

I had to end up making mine out of a longer pin that I cut down,. and then use a hairpin to hold in..etc.

Pitch, what came with your aftermarket swinging drawbar kit was a headed pin that was held in place with a linch pin on a chain and gets simply flipped off. To solve this, use the CBPN-804-A kit which is a tapered nose pin with a cut for a hair pin style pin that slides over the top. There is enough room at the top of your aftermarket clevis to use this style pin. The CBPN-804-A kit is both pieces pin and clip....thanks, Kelly.

Pitch..... ...yer under the diffy 8N swinging drawbar clevis pin is readily available from most good tractor parts stores including this sponsors, and many mail-order parts houses. About $5, cheap.

Complain to the manager of yer TSC store. They have it, and a lazy clerk.

Unfortunately, I don't have that swinging drawbar clevis pin size memorized but it should be 7/8" dia and about 3" long..... ....Dell

Thanks Dell. Tomorrow I will probably go to a different TSC.
