I get anywhere from 4 to 10 N's drug up my driveway each year. I get instructions to "Find out iffen it'll run!" I'll brush past a rats nest of wiring, cracked and corroded this and that, if I have a sniff of spark at the plugs. I'm not sure what a "Tune up" consists of in other areas, but here at poverty patch it'll include new plugs, and boots, on a new buy. I buy Interstate "Workahaulic" Batteries at my local farm and ranch store, my local starter/generator shop sells Deka, while I'll recommend him to my dying breath on repairs, I'll eat worms before I buy a battery from him. As for rebuilding the carb, I've alway found that a good cleaning will usually suffice. Now I mean a thorough cleaning. Not blow it out and hope. I've only ever had to rebuild 3 carbs. If the day comes that I change rear and tranny fluids before I have the engine purring like new, I'll eat the cost of that fluid change. Long story short, don't shortsell the "TUNEUP' Whatever it may mean to you. It's often a great starting point. Ron
