Well I am off to the garage to give the adjustments another shot. I have noticed smoke coming from under the oil filler cap after shutdown and wondered if I should be concerned.
I have not changed the fluids yet on the tractor. It is not a "working" tractor yet so I did not do anything more than check to make sure it had fluids. Oil is pretty dark and needs a change. Is that why it is smoking or is there another problem possibly?

Shorty..... ....most likely yer seeing the natural evaporation of combustion by-products escaping into the cool morning air and showing up as condensation. YES, change yer engine oil and filter when HOT will remove these natural by-products..... ...Dell
