It's been a long time since I visited this forum, and it's good to be back. I remember getting great support before.
This time my problem is that the left rear rim on my 52 8N is rusted out to the point that it needs to be repleced. Is there a souce in central Ohio for a replacement rim?

Sincerely,

Rock-OH

I was at Yoder and Frey in Archbold about two months ago. They had the best price that I have found for the 6 loop replacement rim. They had 10" (wide) 11" and 12". Under $100.
I gotta go with George about original. They can be had but be prepared to see some junk before you find/buy a good one.

What part of Ohio? I live near Mt. Sterling, Ohio and got one from Wilson Tire Service. I know they have stores all around central Ohio.

Any farm implement/tractor dealer should be able to provide a replacement rim to you, however.

Probably one of the most notable... ME Miller tire Co.

You can buy rim.. or a rim mounted tire/tube combo.. etc.

Antique Tractor Internet Service lists 19 of em in Ohio. Does that mean Ohio has a lot of junk? ; ^ )

The original style rim, if that's important, will have to come from a salvage dealer or a donor tractor. New rims of a different style that will work are readily available, from Miller Tire and other sources.

Those of us with multiple Ns tend to selfishly guard our original spares.

People keep tellin me I'm wrong, but I still believe a mess of tractors were made with one hat rim and one six loop. Why else would there be so many like that around?
