Well, went out to the property to do a little hoggin. Beforehand, I decided it was time to change the antifreeze. Done deal. Put some new gas in her, fired right up, then after about 5 min., it dies out and won't restart. Background info (most of you know cause y'all helped):

Changed points, rotor, coil, condensor, plugs, wires, cap, battery, cables. She has been running great, then she died in the field last week. Replaced resistor. Ran great again, up until today when I changed antifreeze and put fuel in. Was running great then just died out after 5 min,. and no restart?

Any thoughts on this?

My first guess is ya forgot to turn the gas back on. My second guess is a bad key switch.. what did it really end up being?

souNdguy,
That's NOT "turn the gas on." It's "found and repaired problem with sufficiency of fuel flow."

That's one of them their "PC" type answers (grin).

Another way could have been to say " found and corrected fuel flow blockage! "
