I have a front end loader on my 8n. Is there a way to mount a dozer blade to it or remove bucket and use one. It would really help for what I am doing to have front blade and back blade on at same time. Does anyone have and idea or retrofit something. Thanks in advance, Paul

I retrofitted a western plow that was on a jeep to my loader. I can really push up some TALL snow banks. Power steering would sure be a plus though, and if I angle the blade it wants to push me to the side.

I have seen trip bucket loaders converted to snowplow by removing the bucket, and attaching the plow to the holes from pins. . .then attached two brackets to back of blade & attached to loader frame to create rigid mount blade.

Get an old plow blade and take it to your local metal fab guy. They can make up something to attach it to your loader. I almost bought a loader for my 8N and planned on doing that with my front mount snowplow blade.
