Many thanks to all who responded to my post. Primed the pump through the pressure relief hole, checked for oil flow at fittings, and also blew some compressed air into the back of the oil gauge just to see if the needle was stuck. Guess what, it was. Tightened everything up and started the engine. Reading approx 30-35 lbs. Life is good! Engine ran for approx 30 seconds and quit on me, but the pressure stayed steady. Gauge does'nt reset to zero, but close. Might replace it. Did'nt have time to look into why the engine quit on me, but I will update again tomorrow if time permits. Thanks again everyone.
Rick

I fixed a stuck oil guage by filling it with wd-40 and leaving it face down on the workbench over night. Next day I emptied the wd out on a rag and guage was good to go.

Hope this helps.

Rick..... .glad it was just a stuck oil pressure gauge, it happens.

Carb bowl holds about 1 minute of gas burning time, Did you remember to turn your fuel tank shut-off on?..... .Dell
