Can anybody tell me an easy way to post pictures of my tractor for y'all? I thought while I was temporarily unable to work on it that I might show you a picture of the beast, but don't know what a URL is or how to get the picture on one.
Can ya help me? Once I get the URL part I think I just paste it into the "Optional Image URL" box that I see below.

Post pic in the "tractor photos" gallery. Then, right click on the photo. Scoll down to "properties."
Look for Adress:(URL) Copy that and paste it into the "optional Image URL" at the bottom of "Post a Message."

I will save some typing, here is a post by Jeb2n from the archives:

Two ways to do things.
1) under "galleries" to the left, you can upload your photo under the appropriate category.

2) I like photobucket.com, and that's what I use as my online storage for pictures.

Once you have an online spot for your pictures, right click on it and then select "properties". There should be a long string of characters that it says is the address(URL) for the picture. Highlight the entire URL and then copy and paste it to the "Optional Image URL" in the message window here. That's how you post a picture and they usually come out about right size wise.

Click the "tractor photos" link over on the left and then click "add your photo" and follow instructions. Once you do that you"ll have a URL. You won"t have a URL until you "upload" your photo to the internet.
Get that done, you"ll be more than half way to posting a pic.
If it seems hard and complicated, you aren"t doing it right. It"s easy and simple.
