The tractor was working great then I shut it off and form there everything started.
Carburetor flooding , rebuilt no help put on a new carburetor , worked for a while. Then I shut it off and can’t get it started.
Weak spark I was reading about the 12 v conversion about maybe the starter button is taking the voltage from the coil. I bought the tractor used and it all ready had the conversion installed.
So my question is how should it be wired ?
Thank you

This is a quote from the forum.
It's wired wrong (starter button is grounding out the voltage that should be going to the ignition system?).

Kelly..... ...ain'chur 8N's starter button. It ain'chur starter solenoid 'cuz it gitts its power from the BIG BATTERY cable internally to be operated by grounding the little middle solenoid terminal with the BIG STARTER thumb switch by the tranny shifter.

I'm gonna demonstrate my powers of mindreading and guess yer starting problems is "weak sparkies" and guess it is caused by yer weaksister ignition switch which has NOTHING to do with yer starter switch. You doubt? By-pass yer ignition switch terminals with a pre-made jumper wire and alligator clippies. Should "cure" yer weak sparkies. Do I haffta tell'ya? Replace yer ignition switch?..... ....Dell, yer self-appointed sparkie-meister and mindreader
