Sorry this is not about Ns, but I just acquired an 860 with a one armed loader. It has a Ford tag with a serial number.

Does anyone know if one can find other buckets for this?

How hard is is to remove and remount?

Lastly, does anyone know where I might find a manual on it?

Many Thanks in Advance!
Patrick

Please e-mail me again. Your address has been rejected a couple of times.

Installing or removing the loader can range from an hour on rough ground if you're inexperienced to 10 minutes on a level concrete floor once you've done it a few times.

A right side shot.

I think the manual covers both the 711 and 722 loaders.

If the other fellow doesn't find a manual for you, I may be able to copy one for you.

Mounting wise.. they look easiy to remove/reinstall.. IF you have a chain hoist and tree.. or another tractor with a fel.. perhaps a gin pole.. etc. Just a few mounting points.

Post some pics of yours! These are neat loaders.

souNdguy,

Thanks for the pics! Mine is exactly like yours... down to the label. Could you share a more detailed pic of the valve control under the seat?

Mine leaks a bit and I guess I'll need to put new gaskets into it.

Thanks!
P

If I get home from work early enough, I'll snap a few pics of the valve area. Mine uses 2 valves on the lift cover.. one is a DA for the dump circuit.. the other is a SA for the lift circuit.

Do a send mail to me and send me your email address and I'll email the pics to you directly.. they will be higher res that can be posted here.

Soundguy,
Does your 722 have a self-leveling bucket?

Because of the geometry o fthe dump cyl and linkage, when you raise the bucket up.. the bucket does travel a little.. I'm not sure if this is really self leveling or not.
I don't have any other fel to compair it to.. I just know it is way better than a wheel barrow!

Thanks. I've been toying with the idea of building a light duty low profile FEL for my 8N. I like the idea of the self leveling bucket, but I think that would probably negate the low profile idea. Maybe someday if I get some extra time, I'll stop talking about it and start building it!

Sounds like it could be a 711 loader if it had trip dump.. or a 722 loader if it has hydraulic dump.

Here's a pic of the tag on my 722 mounted to my 660.

 711 one-arm loaders in reply to Patrick/N-Tiques/OR, 06-13-2005 20:28:52
I presently have 3 of the 711 loaders, and a variety of extra parts, manuals, and mounting kits. Three basic styles of buckets were offered - contact me for more details. You can find manuals on eBay, or N-News. I'll help you out if you're unsuccessful.
