The pictured clamp is from my 1944 2N project tractor. Are these still available AND/OR would anyone have an extra one kicking around? They came off the short pieces of hose that are on either end of the metal tube between air cleaner and carb. I have 3 and, as usual, Mr Wonderful must have lost one of the set when he was mucking around with tractor. This fella is (and now was) a real piece of work.

I got a set for the rad hoses and air breather pipe from the Barkleys also. They look good. I ended up using a normal screw type clamp on the upper radiator hose since it was near impossible to work a screwdriver in that small space when I was adjusting the radiator to fit the hood. You can get a nutrunner or 1/4" socket wrench on the modern types. Plus, you have to be a contortionist to see up in there anyway.

Thank you! UPS tracking says the seat will arrive today. I am looking forward to seeing it. Had my electrolysis tank going 24 hours a day for the past 4 days trying to clean up the air cleaner parts so that I can paint them and reinstall. Some of those parts were really heavily painted and it took close to 15 hours to remove the layers from the outside of the thing.
I'll be in touch.

I hear ya on the tank. I had parts that sat in there for up to a week on some things like oil pans and such. I've currently got the block for one of my two hit and miss engines soaking away in the electrolysis tank on my front porch. It has been in there for about 24 hours and i'll flip it over to get the other half when I get home. Also, i can't find "Washing soda" anywhere, so I have to use baking soda. It works but I guess it takes a little more time since it's not as strong. I wish I had had the time to clean the seat up a bit for you before I sent it off, but I think you will be well pleased with the condition of the seat structurally. A little cleaning and it'll be good as new!

Jeb, Pretty sure "washing soda" is the same stuff as the PH adjuster for my spa. Must be the stuff that raises the PH. Check it out at any store in the pool department. Sodium Carbonate. Me, I use lye. UPS is late today....more later.

Don"t have one, but some of the newer cars use them on the coolant hoses. A car dealer parts house might have them.

Those are still commonly sold by Ford auto dealer parts counters.
