Just got back from a 10 day cruise in/around UK with stops for day trips in ireland, scotland, england etc..even took the chunnel train between London and Paris....saw only one "n" the entire time and that was painted up as a display by the side of the road..was also surprise at how few pickup trucks I saw...counted less then 10 during the entire trip..dispite some nice trips in the country saw very few tractors at all!

Ns' are a bit scarce over here in the UK. I live in East Anglia, and see tractors on the road daily. The nearby farmer has a slew of tractors, including a Ferguson. The Fergie is not in use. Here's a picture of a 8N taken at a huge tractor show a few weeks ago. As far as I saw, it was the only 8N there.

Don..... ...iff'n you saw a billboard picture of a Ford N-Tractor, bettcha saw the Ferguson look-alike TE-20. Or iff'n it was a "static-display", bettcha it was still the English Ferguson look-alike TE-20. Upon close inspection it would have a OHV engine instead of Ford's FLATHEAD. Silhouette of BOTH the 8N and TO-20 look the same at 20/20. (20ft or 20mph) but I'm glad you were eyeballin' everything. Besides driving on the "otherside of the road" can screw-up yer eyeballs sense of direction. (grin)..... ...Dell

I was in a tour bus and pasted it so fast couldn't really tell if it could have been a ferggy instead of an "n". had painted red steel wheels (vice rubber tires) and the body was either blue or gray, don't remember which now! was going too fast to get a picture with my digital camera, love digital cameras except the auto focus and exposure takes too long compared to film cameras and you miss some shots because of it!

Fergies galore in reply to Don in Cal, 06-27-2005 13:09:03
Don,
The link is to a site in UK of a Ferguson shop. Great pictures esp a Fergie with a cordwood saw under "Pete the TE p 20."
