my memory slipped,, how'd ya get those pecans picked up?? can't remember and someone asked the other day, they had the same problem...

I do believe I was the one with the pecan problem, but we all forget sometimes (like when someone calls in the middle of the day and I forget who by the evening). The pecans are where we left em, sittin on the orchard floor. Never got around to pickin em up. If we were to pick them up, we would do it mechanically. As for someone else picking up pecans, it depends on the area that needs picked up. For a few trees, I would do it physically, much more than that and it would take too long to get the job done (at least by my standards).

yer right, now i remeber that ya said ya was gonna leave'm, i'll tell this lady that and see what she wants to do, she wanted me to finish mow her area real low, and i told her that it would probably pick'm up and throw'm like golf balls,,

It will throw them like golf balls with a flail mower. We had to put up a big piece of rubber in front of the mower to protect our backs.

i know about protection from flying objects,,
plywood works great, the last time i has a semi full (6) of "N" tractors come in, i didn't realize that a woman could throw a 6" cast iron skillet that far
