The land dump says I can bring the calcium cloride from the tires to the dump in 5 gallon plastic gas cans as long as I label the cans as calcium cloride and call them 24 hours in advance. My question is, is it safe to haul calcium cloride solution in plastic gas cans?

Thanks for any help, Dan

Yes. But rather than dumping it or taking it to the landfill, investigate, 'donating' it to your local tractor tire fixer. Mine was tickled to get it and pumped it outta my barrel into his truck. Steve

Sure the only way it isn't safe is in a metal can. About all it is, is a type of salt water.
