What is the dimension from the split between the engine/trans to the center of the clutch disk.

My clutch is stuck and have tried all the other suggestions. Am going to drill a hole at the center of the disk thickness at the flywheel and try a screwdriver or other to break it loose.

Thanks,

Roger in Iowa

Roger
When the clutch on my 800 was stuck
I warmed it up so it would start easy.
Then started it in gear and drove it to
a big tree. Then With clutch depressed
and in 2nd slowly moved into the tree.
A few times and it broke loose.
George

Roger, have you tried squirting a can of electrical or brake cleaner into the timing hole with the engine running? I did this and mine freed up very quickly. I do it now about every three years.

No I have not tried that.

Where is the timing hole?

Only side-mount distributor engines have a timing hole, in the RH side of the bell housing.

If your's is a front-mount, you're out of luck!

Yep, it is front mount.

Need to know the distance from the split at engine to trans to the center of the clutch disk. Anyone got an engine with clutch attached that can make this measurement?

Thanks,
Roger
