Hello Everyone,

I felt a need to share my experience with the Fun Projects Inc. company. I was tired of cheap cut-outs that wouldn't....well, cut out. I invested into one of those Fun Projects voltage regulators that look just like a cut-out. To make a long story short, I had a problem with my wiring and having e-mailed Mr. John Regan, President of Fun Projects, he personally helped me through some checks, via e-mail...and on the 4th of July!...that lead to my finding the problem. Now, the voltage regulator works like a charm and I can see it is one of the best investments worth making for our dear 9N's and 2N's. It sure makes life a heck of a lot easier...and you can't even tell I'm wearing one!

John..... ..the early 9N & 2N's had a manually adjustable 3rd brush for controlling the genny charge output. Since it was operator adjustable, many times they were miss-adjusted and eather overcharged and boiled the battery, or they undercharged and had hard starting from a weak battery.

The cut-out relay is a roundcan 2-terminal "disconnect" device that disconnects the battery from the genny so the battery doesn't discharge thru the genny guttz overnite.

By the miracle of solid state electronics, Fun Projects has changed the guttz of the roundcan cut-out relay into a real voltage regulator. It is a "stealthy" device that looks just like a normal 2-terminal cut-out relay. That is why nobody can tell it is being worn. (used)..... ....respectfully, Dell

It's always good to hear nice things about a company. Seems like most of the time you only hear complaints.

I've been wanting to get one of those for my 9n for a while. I'm tired of screwing around with the cut-outs as well.

Matt
